Breathtaking scenery awaits you as you travel through the northwest visiting six National Parks: Mount Revelstoke, Glacier (Canada), Banff, Kootenay, Waterton Lakes and Glacier (Montana) on this US & Canadian National Parks guided vacation.
Travel north from Spokane along the Columbia River crossing the Selkirk Mountains into British Columbia where you’ll take in Mount Revelstoke Park, Glacier National Park and Kicking Horse Canyon on your way into Banff. Tour mountains and lakes including massive Takakkaw Falls and turquoise Lake Louise. From Banff travel deep into the Canadian Rockies surrounded by fabulous sights and learning about the settling of this remote region of Canada.
Continue into Glacier National Park, Montana. Bring your binoculars to sight bison, bears and other wildlife. Continue through monumental scenery to Wallace, Idaho for sightseeing before returning to Spokane and the end of your US-Canadian National Parks Guided Vacation.

Day 1: Fly to Spokane, WA
Arrive in Spokane and transfer to your hotel to begin your US-Canadian National Parks Guided Vacation. Dinner tonight is at a local restaurant. Centennial Hotel, Spokane (D)
Day 2: Spokane to Revelstoke
Travel north along the Columbia River. Cross the Selkirk Mountains into British Columbia, lunch in Castlegar, before heading into the rugged wilderness of Valhalla Provincial Park. Drive along Upper Arrow Lake, then ferry across to Galena Bay and into Revelstoke, BC, located at the entrance of Mt. Revelstoke Park. Best Western Plus, Revelstoke, BC (B)
Day 3: Glacier National Park / Banff
See Canada’s spectacular Glacier National Park on your way to Golden, BC. Drive over Kicking Horse Pass where we see the Natural Bridge, Emerald Lake, Takkakaw Falls, and the Spiral Tunnels. Day 4: Banff Alpine & Lakes Tour
Enjoy a full day tour of Banff and Yoho National Parks, starting with a ride on the Sulphur Mountain Gondola for a stunning view of the Bow Valley and town of Banff. Then drive to the Valley of the Ten Peaks and Lake Moraine, followed by an elegant buffet lunch at Chateau Lake Louise (altitude 5,500′). Day 5: Banff / Radium / Fernie
Departing Banff, enjoy the geologic wonder of Johnson Canyon with its lush surroundings, rushing stream and seven waterfalls. Then you’ll drive through Kootenay National Park past Radium Hot Springs and into the Columbia River Valley. You’ll see where the headwaters of the Columbia bubble out of the ground at Canal Flats, forming Lake Columbia. Day 6: Waterton & Glacier Parks
Today, travel to Waterton Lakes Nat’l Park. Visit “Head-Smashed-In-Buffalo-Jump” where you’ll learn about the First Nation people and the bison herds. Day 7: Glacier to Kalispell, MT
This morning enjoy time exploring the scenic areas of Glacier National Park. Take a scenic lake cruise and watch for deer, moose, bear, big horn sheep and mountain goats in the wilderness. Day 8: Whitefish to Spokane
Drive along the western shores of Flathead Lake for a stop at St. Ignatius to see the ornate church. In Wallace, Idaho, you’ll tour the working Silverado Silver Mine, visit the Bordello Museum, and have free time for shopping and lunch on your own. Day 9: Spokane Tour / Fly Home
Enjoy a city tour with Manito Gardens, Riverfront Park, and Pitcher Swinging Bridge over the Spokane River. Arrive at the airport for your return flight home. (B)
