Day 4: Lisbon / Evora / Seville
This morning travel east to visit Evora, Portugal, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring a Roman Temple and a well-preserved old town center still partially enclosed by medieval walls. Day 5: Seville
This morning experience a Seville city tour to view the Santa Cruz Quarter, the Parque de Maria Louisa and visit the impressive Cathedral of Seville, considered the world’s largest Gothic cathedral. Day 6: Seville – Granada
Today travel to Granada and enjoy a panoramic Granada City Tour. The highlight of this tour will inevitably be the visit to the Alhambra Palace & Generalife, Granada’s main attraction. Day 7: Granada – Toledo – Madrid
Today travel north to visit Toledo, the capital of Spain until 1560, and one of the most important centers of European medieval history. Visit the Toledo Cathedral, one of the three 13th-century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain. DAY 8: Madrid / Free Time
The capital of Spain since 1561, Madrid is a perfect blend of modern and old world. Day 9: Fly Home / Optional Barcelona
Transfer to the airport and fly home, or continue on to Barcelona on the optional extension. (B)
If you chose the extension, board the High Speed AVE Train from Madrid to Barcelona. Arrive in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, located on the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy a Barcelona city tour. See Las Ramblas Boulevard, Casa Mila, designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, Columbus Monument, and Parc Montjuic. Continue to see Gaudi’s unfinished La Sagrada Famiglia Cathedral, the symbol of Barcelona. This evening is on your own.
Day 10 – Optional Barcelona
